A 17 year old veteran of the National Team, Julie Foudy is turning 38 on January 23rd. Julie finished her career in a significant way and can finally enjoy her retirement. Appearing in the national Team uniform 271 times, made her become one of the best women’s soccer players in the United States as well as Mia Hamm, Brandi Chastain, Kristine Lilly and Joy Fawcett who made up the ‘91ers. During her retirement Julie Foudy became a sports broadcaster, covering events like 2006 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 2008.
